What our Guests have to say

A Truly Special Stay at The National Hotel Warwick What an absolute hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we knew this wasn’t just another hotel. At 119 years old, The National Hotel Warwick is full of history, character and charm, yet the restoration has been done so beautifully that it perfectly blends its heritage with modern comfort. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is incredible. From the grand hallways and stunning chandeliers to the beautifully restored rooms, cosy lounge areas and roaring fireplace, every corner tells a story. It really feels like you’ve stepped back in time while still enjoying all the comforts of today.

Just spent a lovely relaxing week at the Nash. Every day I was busy in Warwick and every evening I could return to a cosy, comfortable room. A welcoming fire in the Ladies lounge where I could catch up with friends and hosts was just the spot to savor a glass of wine before heading out for dinner. The corner verandah room with access to the expansive verandah was just the spot to look over town as the sun set in the west. I’ll be back to stay again. Rooms5.0 Service5.0 Location5.0

Darren and Livi were wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming and accommodating to our large group. The rooms were spacious and beautifully renovated. The beds were so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave them. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in ‘The Ladies Lounge’ (men were welcome too!). We really enjoyed our stay at The National and would definitely stay there again. Rooms5.0 Service5.0 Location5.0 Hotel highlights Romantic · Quiet · Great value

Welcome to the Nash...become a member of the family, as your welcomed by your hosts. Darren and Livi...who will take you on a journey, through time. As they escort you around this restored hotel...you feel at ease and slowly become family. You begin to share stories and before you know, they are showing you into your warm room. What an experience...enjoy the old ladies lounge with its open fire and comfortable genoa lounge. I look forward to returning and seeing the progression of this beautiful establishment. This has become a favourite of ours now. We have traveled and stayed at many places, and I can tell you, the hosts make this stay a total joy from checking in to departure... Thank you Darren And Livi. We cant wait to return.

This grand old lady is being beautifully restored. We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms and it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The colour palate, in monochromatics, highlights some of the fabulous features. The bed is super comfy and there is coffee making facilities and a bar fridge in the room. Just pad down the hall, and there is a super fitted kitchen where you can make use of the coffee machine or any of the other appliances. Only negative is that the rooms are not ensuited, so be prepared to share a bathroom. When we stayed there was only our group of four on the floor, so it wasn't a problem. Located just on the edge of town, it is quiet but still easy to get into the centre, a nice walk along the river starts at the end of the street. All up, a quirky and interesting place to stay.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the location is perfect — close to the centre of Warwick and convenient for everything we needed. The hosts have been so friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay, which made such a difference. The beds and pillows are some of the most comfortable we’ve slept on, and the quality of the towels and bed linen really added to the overall experience. The rooms are peaceful, comfortable and thoughtfully presented, making it easy to relax after a busy day. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Warwick.
